Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Ready to pop open your Samsung Galaxy Watch Active for some repair magic or a quick inspection? Let’s dive in and make it happen!
Step 1
– First off, let’s give your Galaxy Watch Active a little nap! Press and hold the bottom button for about 3 seconds. You’ll feel a quick vibration—just a little ‘goodbye’ shake!
– When you see the ‘Power off’ icon pop up, give that screen a tap right in the center to power it down. You’ll feel a longer vibration to confirm it’s off. You’re doing great!
Step 2
– Grab your trusty Tri-point Y00 screwdriver and let’s tackle those four 4 mm-long screws on the back of the watch. You’ve got this!

Step 3
Hold your horses! Don’t take off the back cover just yet. There’s a sneaky cable connecting it to the motherboard that needs to stay put for now.
– Grab your trusty opening tool and slide it between the plastic back cover and the metal housing, right near the buttons. You’re doing great!
– Gently push the tip of that opening tool into the little gap you’ve found to pop the back cover away from the housing. You’re making fantastic progress!
Step 4
– Gently lift the back cover about 2 cm to reveal the hidden treasure: the sensor array connector, which is right by those two buttons.
– Grab your trusty spudger and carefully disconnect the sensor array from the motherboard. You’ve got this!
