Got little to no sound coming from your speaker during calls or while vibing to your tunes? Your speaker might be kaput and ready for a swap. Use this guide to scope out any damage and, if needed, get that speaker replaced so you’re back to crystal-clear sound in no time!

Step 1

– Gently slide the battery right out from its cozy spot in the back of your phone.

– Twist off the antenna top with a steady hand.

Step 3

– Grab the antenna with some trusty tweezers and nudge it toward the top.

– Gently pop out the antenna and set it aside.

– Take out the four 3 mm screws hanging out in the battery compartment—easy peasy!

– Hit those release buttons on the phone’s sides and, with a little finesse, wiggle and lift the back plate off. You’ve got this!

Step 5

– Squeeze those release tabs on both sides of the back casing like you’re giving them a gentle hug.

– Carefully nudge the motherboard loose and lift it out like you’re rescuing a treasure.

Step 6

– Start by finding the internal speaker unit at the top of the front plate of your phone. It’s just hanging out there, waiting for you to give it some attention!

– Now, grab a flathead screwdriver and gently pry that internal speaker away from the front casing. It’s like a little treasure hunt!

– Once it’s loose, go ahead and remove the internal speaker from the front casing. You’ve got this!
