So, when you’re putting everything back together, make sure to grab some replacement adhesive to keep things snug and secure. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.

Step 1

– Before we get started, make sure you’ve powered down your phone to prevent any complications during the repair.

– Apply that nifty iOpener to a long edge of your phone to soften up the pesky adhesive sticking that rear glass to your device. Keep it on there for at least two minutes and let the magic happen!

Step 2

– You’re about to embark on a slicing adventure! Follow our lead and head straight to the areas marked with adhesive bliss, where you’ll be cutting through it with confidence. Remember, you’ve got this!

Step 3

– Start by sticking a suction cup to the back cover, just like a friendly little buddy!

– Gently lift the bottom edge of the back cover with your suction cup to create a tiny gap between it and the frame.

– Slide an opening pick into that gap and take it all the way to the bottom right corner—you’re doing great!

– Now, grab a second opening pick and slide it over to the bottom left corner. Keep that momentum going!

– To keep things from sealing back up on you, insert a third opening pick to hold everything in place while you finish up.

Step 4

– Gently slide just the tip of your opening pick into the bottom left corner and glide it along the side all the way up to the top. You’re on the right track!

– Don’t forget to smoothly maneuver the pick around the top corner and leave it there to keep that pesky adhesive from creeping back in. You’re doing great!

Step 5

– Glide that opening pick from the bottom right corner all the way to the top.

– Swing the pick around the corner and slice through the last bits of adhesive at the top. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair

Step 6

– Gently raise up the corner of the rear glass near the volume button.
