Heads up! Before diving into this repair, make sure you’re in a cozy spot with plenty of light. If things get tricky or you feel like you need a hand, don’t hesitate to schedule a repair with the pros at Salvation Repair. They’ve got your back!
Follow this guide to attach the FixHub Smart Soldering Iron cap to a Portable Power Station, turning it into a handy stand. It’s a simple tweak that makes your setup even more versatile!
Step 1
Keep your fingers safe and your soldering iron in check! Avoid touching that hot metal tip when the Touch-Safe Indicator LED is glowing orange or purple – it can really pack a burn. Always treat that tip like it’s a hot potato!
And hey, don’t leave your soldering iron unattended with the power switch set to orange ON. It’s like leaving your pet goldfish alone with a bowl of snacks – not a good idea!
– For your safety, make sure to keep the cap on your iron when you’re not using it. The cap is heat-resistant and can safely cover your iron, even when it’s hot. Stay cool and keep things safe!
Step 2
– Grip the iron firmly at both ends and give it a gentle pull to pop off the cap.
Step 3
Or hey, if you’re feeling a bit laid back, just keep that cap on the iron while you clip it in place. No stress, just repair vibes!
– Get the cap’s spring clip ready by aligning its widest opening with the circular, blue tool mount found on either side of the Portable Power Station.
– Once it’s lined up, simply place the spring clip over the mount and slide the cap down to lock it in securely. Easy peasy!
Step 4
Heads up! Always keep an eye on that soldering iron when it’s switched to the orange ON position. It’s not a babysitter, so give it the attention it deserves!
When the iron is on and has been chilling in one spot for 30 seconds, it kicks back into Idle Mode. But don’t worry! As soon as you get moving again, it’ll heat right back up to your chosen temperature.
– Pop your iron back into its cozy cap.
