Step 1
– Warm up an iOpener and press it against the left side of your device for two minutes. You’ve got this!

The next three steps will introduce you to the Anti-Clamp, a nifty little tool we created to make opening your device a breeze. If you don’t have the Anti-Clamp handy, no worries! Just skip down three steps for another way to tackle this.
– Give that blue handle a gentle tug back to set the Anti-Clamp’s arms free.
– Nestle your iPad on a sturdy object, making sure it’s sitting nice and level between those suction cups.
– Place the suction cups near the center of the left edge—one up top and one down below, just chilling out.
– Keep a steady hand on the bottom of the Anti-Clamp and give that top cup a firm press to create some suction magic.
Step 4
– Gently pull the blue handle forward to secure those arms in place.
– Give the handle a smooth clockwise twist for a full 360 degrees or until those suction cups start stretching out like they’re ready for a workout.
– Keep an eye on those suction cups and make sure they’re lined up nicely. If they start to wander off course, simply loosen them up a bit and guide those arms back into alignment.
Step 5
– Take a breather for a minute to let that adhesive chill and create a nice little gap for you.
– If your screen isn’t warming up like it should, feel free to grab a hair dryer and give the left edge of your iPad a gentle heat-up.
– Slide an opening pick under the digitizer once the Anti-Clamp has made a big enough opening for you.
– Just skip the next step—no need to overcomplicate things!
Step 6
If your screen is sporting some serious cracks, try giving it a little love with a layer of clear packing tape to help that suction cup stick. If you want to get creative, some super strong tape can step in for the suction cup too. And if you’re feeling a bit adventurous, you can even superglue that suction cup right onto the broken screen!
– Once your screen is feeling nice and toasty, grab a suction handle and stick it on the left edge, as close to the side as you can get.
– Gently pull up on the suction handle to create a tiny gap between the digitizer and the frame—just enough to get in there!
– Slide an opening pick into that little gap you just made between the digitizer and the frame. You’re doing great!

Step 7
No need to stress if you spot the opening pick peeking through the digitizer — just gently pull it out. Your LCD screen should be just fine, but watch out for that stubborn adhesive that can be tricky to clean up.
– Pop in a second opening pick into that snazzy gap you just made.
– Gently slide the pick toward the bottom-left corner of your device to break free from the adhesive’s grip.
– Keep the pick snugly in the bottom-left corner to stop that adhesive from trying to seal back up!
Step 8
– If your opening pick decides to stick to the adhesive like a kid at a candy store, just give it a little roll along the side of the iPad to keep peeling away that sticky stuff.
Step 9
– Gently slide the first opening pick up towards the top-left corner of your device to loosen that pesky adhesive.
– Keep the pick in place at the top-left corner to make sure the adhesive doesn’t stick back together.
Step 11
– Gently spin the pick around the top-left corner of your device to break free that stubborn adhesive.
Step 12
Be careful not to slide the pick over the front camera; you wouldn’t want to put a scratch on that lens! Follow these steps to keep things safe and sound.
– Gently glide the opening pick along the top edge of your device, but be sure to stop just shy of the front camera. You’ve got this!
Step 13
– Gently pull the pick out until just the tip is nestled between the digitizer and the frame.
– Slide that pick right above the front camera to break free the adhesive.
– Keep the pick close to the right side of the front camera as you move on to the next step.
Step 15
– Warm up an iOpener and give it a cozy two-minute hug on the right edge of your device.

– Twist the pick around the top-right corner of your device to gently break that adhesive seal. You’ve got this!
Step 17
The display cables can be found about halfway up from the bottom of your iPad. Make sure to stop sliding when you get within three inches of the bottom. You’ve got this!
– Grab a fresh opening pick and gently slide it into the middle of the iPad’s right edge.
Step 18
– Warm up that iOpener and give it a cozy hug on the bottom edge of your device for two minutes. You’ll be on your way to a smooth repair in no time!

– Gently slide the pick into the bottom-left corner to break that adhesive seal like a pro.
– Keep the pick nestled in that corner before you dive into the next step.
Step 20
– Gently slide a new opening pick into that little gap you created at the bottom edge of your iPad.
– Carefully glide the pick over the antenna, making sure to stop just shy of the home button.
– Keep that pick snugly to the left of the home button before you move on to the next step.
Step 21
Be careful to insert the pick only up to 1 mm—let’s keep that right antenna safe and sound!
– Gently slide an opening pick into that little gap you just made.
– Carefully maneuver the pick under the home button, gliding it towards the bottom-right corner. Just make sure only the tip is nestled between the digitizer and the frame!

– Pop that pick back in and give it a little shimmy toward the home button to fully break free the bottom adhesive. You’re doing great!
– Keep that pick parked to the right of the home button before you move on to the next step. You’ve got this!
Step 23
– Warm up an iOpener and place it on the right edge of your device for a solid two minutes.

Take it easy with this step! Patience is key—make sure the adhesive is nice and toasty, and use your pick to separate it all. If you need to pause and reheat, that’s totally cool!
If you’re feeling some serious resistance, don’t sweat it! Just give those edges a little reheat and glide your opening pick along them like you’re dancing with your favorite tune.
– Gently twist those two opening picks at the left corners of your iPad to give the digitizer a little lift, and as you do, you’ll be breaking free the last bit of adhesive holding it down. You’ve got this!

– While holding the digitizer in place, gently slide an opening pick between the two display cables to break free the last bit of adhesive holding them together.

– After you’ve successfully peeled off all that sticky adhesive, gently open the digitizer like a charming little book and lay it down flat next to the iPad.
– When it’s time to put everything back together, give the remaining adhesive on the frame—and on the digitizer if you’re reusing it—a good clean with some isopropyl alcohol. Then, replace that adhesive with our handy
