This guide shows you how to easily remove and replace the antenna without breaking a sweat. The whole process should take about 20-30 minutes. Stick with the steps, follow them carefully, and you’ll have that antenna swapped out like a pro with zero drama for your device!

Step 1

– Start by loosening those screws on the top and bottom of your device. You’ve got this!

Step 2

– Pop off the back panel like a pro—don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds!

Step 3

– After removing the back panel, carefully lay your device screen-down on the table. Give it a little rest—it’s earned it!

Step 4

– Find the antenna cover at the top of your device. It’s usually pretty easy to spot, so give it a look and get ready to dive in.

Step 5

– Unscrew the two little screws that are keeping the antenna cover snug and secure.

Step 6

– Gently slide a prying tool to pop off that pesky plastic piece from the antenna component. You’ve got this!

Step 7

– Look for the antenna, which is that gray cable peeking out from the plastic cover. It’s your clue that you’re on the right track.

Step 8

– Peel off all the sticky tape bits from the antenna cable. You’re doing great!

Step 9

– Now that you’ve peeled away all that sticky tape, gently wiggle out the antenna component like you’re freeing a trapped treasure. You’ve got this!

Step 10

– The antenna is cozying up to the chip inside your device, so be gentle – no sudden jerks!

– Desolder the wire that’s holding onto the chip. This will let you pop off the antenna like a pro.

– Once you’re done with that, it’s time for a glow-up! Swap out the old antenna for a shiny new one!

Success!
Time to put your device back together! Just retrace your steps in reverse, and you’ll be all set. If the journey gets a bit tricky, feel free to schedule a repair. You’ve got this!
