Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 6 Steps

Step 1

– Gently lay your computer down on its side, just like in the picture. It’s time to get to work!

– Now, let’s tackle those two 14mm screws! They’re loose enough for you to unscrew them with just your hands. Easy peasy!

Step 2

– Slide the side panel straight back with care and pop it off the computer—easy-peasy!

Step 3

– Gently detach both bundles of wires hooking the power supply unit to the motherboard. You’ve got this!

Step 4

– Disconnect every cable hooked up to the optical drive and hard drive—give those cords a little freedom!

Step 5

– Grab your Phillips #2 driver and set your sights on those four 8mm screws holding the power supply unit to the computer’s outer shell. Unscrew them with style and care!

Step 6

– Gently pull the power supply unit away from the screw side and then out. You’ve got this!

Success!
