Give your Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 a fresh start with a brand new battery and keep your tablet powered up for whatever comes next.

Step 1

– First, power down your device – we don’t want any unexpected surprises!

– Next, grab a plastic opening tool and carefully pry open the back cover of your tablet. Take your time, it’s not as scary as it sounds!

– The second picture shows what your tablet will look like with the back cover removed – you’re making great progress!

Step 2

– Time to get that ribbon cable loose! Start by gently peeling away the tape that’s holding it in place.

– If the tape is being super stubborn, don’t worry! Just grab your trusty precision tweezers and carefully coax it away.

Step 3

– Gently unplug the ribbon cable from the power button connector. No need to rush here—take your time!

– To detach the cable, simply lift the clamp on the connector and ease the cable out slowly. Easy does it!

Step 4

– Unscrew the following screws to free up the metal frame holding the battery in place.

– Five 2 mm Philips screws.

Step 5

– Peel off that sneaky grey tape.

– Grab your Phillips #000 bit and unscrew the hidden 2mm screw—yes, the one lurking underneath!

Step 6

– Next, gently peel off the second piece of tape from the ribbon cable that’s connected to the battery. Nice job so far!

Step 7

– Let’s get started by removing the screws that hold the battery connector cover in place. You’ll need to take out two 2mm Phillips screws.

– Two 2mm Phillips screws need to come out to access the battery connector.

Step 8

– After you’ve unscrewed those pesky screws, go ahead and lift off the shiny metal cover you see right there.

Step 9

– Carefully take out the following parts:

– Unplug the battery ribbon cable.

Step 10

– Once you’ve unhitched the battery ribbon cable, go ahead and gently lift out the battery like a pro.
