Steps: 4 Steps
Ready to remove your tablet’s battery? This step-by-step guide will show you exactly how to do it safely and smoothly. No stress, just follow along!
Step 1
Already peeled off the seal from the screw? Go ahead and move on to the next part.
The screw’s pretty tiny, so grabbing it with a pair of tweezers might save you some hassle.
– Lay your tablet face down on a soft, stable surface—make sure it’s comfy enough to keep that screen safe and sound.
– Grab a Metal Spudger and gently scrape off the seal covering the screw on the back. No rush, just take your time!
– Now, pick up your Phillips #000 Screwdriver and carefully unscrew the M1.4 × 2.5 screw. You’ve got this!

Step 2
You might need to give the back cover a little extra encouragement to pop it off—don’t be shy!
Heads up: the button tabs inside are just hanging out loose and will probably tumble out when you open the case.
– Let’s get this repair started! Begin by working your way around the tablet, starting from one side, and carefully prying off the back cover using a trusty metal Spudger. This is where the magic happens!

Step 4
Heads up, the battery is stuck in place with some strong double-sided tape on its underside, so be prepared for a bit of a challenge when trying to remove it
– You did it! Now, just put everything back together by following the steps in reverse—like rewinding a movie, but with screws.
– If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
