– Gently nudge the keyboard forward starting from the space bar, applying just enough pressure to loosen and lift it up. No need to wrestle it!
– Carefully unplug that ribbon cable—treat it like the fragile little lifeline it is!

– Now, flip the device back over and let’s get to work! Grab your trusty screwdriver and remove those six screws that are keeping the palm rest snugly in place.

– Time to flip your device over and say goodbye to those two pesky screws keeping the palm rest snug as a bug! Grab your trusty screwdriver and let’s get to it.
Step 7
Give it a gentle touch! Yanking too hard on that ribbon band could spell trouble for your device. Make sure to gently disconnect the ribbon band nestled beneath the keyboard before you part ways with the palm rest. Keep it cool and take your time!
– Alright, with the top of your device looking right at you, give it a little tilt—about 45 degrees up, so you can see those sneaky clips holding the palm rest in place.
– Grab your trusty Jimmy tool and gently coax the palm rest free from the body of the device. You got this!
– Starting from the hinge, carefully lift the palm rest away from the device. But wait! Before you go all the way, don’t forget to unclip that ribbon band hiding underneath the mouse pad. It’s a team effort!
