Press down firmly to keep those screws from slipping out of place.
– Using your trusty Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew all twelve 6 mm screws holding the laptop’s back cover in place—get ready to free that stubborn panel!

– Pop off the laptop’s back cover—it should slide off like butter. No sweat, you’ve got this!
Step 3
– Grab your trusty Phillips #1 screwdriver and take out all six 7mm screws holding the heat sink in place. You’ve got this!

– Pop off that heat sink with confidence!
– Make a mental note of the gray thermal paste hanging out on the back of the heat sink—it’s important stuff.
