LG Smartwatch Gasket Replacement Guide
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Uh-oh! If your LG G Watch has had a splash party, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and replace that gasket. You might even want to check on the battery and the motherboard too, just to be safe. If this feels a bit overwhelming, no worries! You can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
Spring bars are the cool little connectors that hold the two halves of your wristband to the watch body. Each spring bar has a shoulder on both ends, making it super secure.
Get ready to give a little push with your fingers for the next step. You’ve got this!
– Alright, first things first – slide that wristband down the spring bar to reveal the shoulder of the spring bar.
– Now, grab that exposed shoulder with your tweezers to get ready for the next move. You got this!

Step 2
This step can be a bit tricky! Take your time and be gentle to keep that spring bar from bouncing out of the wristband.
– Grab your tweezer and give that spring bar a little nudge to collapse it just a few millimeters, so it can pop right out of the hole that’s been holding it in place.
– Next, gently pull the other side of the spring bar to free up the wristband from the watch face.
– Repeat steps 1 and 2 on the other wristband, and you’re all set!
Step 3
– Grab your T5 Torx screwdriver and loosen up those four silver 2mm x 3mm T5 screws holding the back cover. Let’s get this thing opened!

– Didn’t finish? No worries, you got this next time!
