Time to give your Late 2011 MacBook Pro 13″ Unibody a little boost by upgrading the RAM! Let’s get your machine running smoother than ever. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Unscrew those ten little screws like a pro!
Step 2
– Get your fingers in there and gently pop the lower case off the MacBook, starting near the vent. It’s like giving your laptop a little hug!
– Once you’ve got it loose, go ahead and lift that lower case right off.
Step 3
For a smooth escape, gently pry up on both short sides of the connector to help it wiggle out of its socket. Just a heads up—watch those corners! They can be a bit fragile and might just break off if you’re not careful.
– Gently nudge the battery connector up with the edge of a spudger, freeing it from its cozy home on the logic board.

Step 4
– Gently nudge the battery cable a bit away from its cozy spot on the logic board. This way, it won’t accidentally reconnect while you work your magic.
Step 5
The RAM chip should give a little ‘pop’ as it rises up from its socket.
– Gently push the two RAM retaining arms away from the center of the RAM chip to free it up.
Step 6
– Gently wiggle and lift that RAM stick right out of its cozy socket.
– Now, let’s do it again for the second RAM chip. Give it a little wiggle and pull it out!
