Hey there! Just a friendly reminder: if you’re feeling a bit lost or run into any hiccups during the repair, don’t sweat it! We’re here to help you out. You can always schedule a repair if you need a hand!
Time to give your Mid 2012 MacBook Pro 13″ Unibody a little boost! Upgrading the RAM is a great way to enhance performance and keep things running smoothly. Let’s dive in and make your laptop feel like new again!
Step 1
– Unscrew and release those ten tiny screws like a pro!
Step 2
– Gently pry the lower case off the MacBook near the vent using your fingers—think of it as giving your device a little hug!
– Now, just lift that lower case right off. You’ve got this!
Step 3
To gently coax the connector out of its socket, try prying up on both short sides. Think of it like a little dance to help it ‘walk’ free! Just watch out for those corners – they’re a bit fragile and can break off easily.
– Gently slide the spudger’s edge under the battery connector and lift it up from its cozy spot on the logic board. You’ve got this!

Step 4
– Gently nudge the battery cable away from its socket on the logic board, just enough so it won’t decide to reattach itself while you’re in the zone. Keep it safe while you work your magic!
Step 5
The RAM chip should give a little bounce and pop up from its socket.
– Gently slide those RAM retaining arms away from the middle of the RAM chip, and let them do their thing!
Step 6
– Gently wiggle the RAM stick out of its cozy socket.
– Now, do the same for the second RAM chip and give it a little nudge!
