Heads up: the wireless charging coil might want to cling to the rear case. Gently peel it away from the case before you fully lift the rear cover off the device.
– Grab a plastic opening tool and gently pry the rear case away from the device. Don’t rush – give it a little wiggle to loosen things up!
– Carefully remove the rear case from the device. You’re getting closer to the fix!
Step 3
– Gently pop off the midframe bezel and set it aside.
Step 4
– Grab your Torx T5 driver and zip out those four screws holding down the midframe plate. Set them aside somewhere safe—you’ll need them later!
Step 5
– Let’s get started by removing the midframe. This is the first step in giving your device a brand new lease on life!
Step 6
