Check out this speedy new gigabit router from Netgear, rocking dual N-band for all your streaming and surfing needs. It even comes with software code under the GPL or LGPL, so keep an eye out for those cool open-source projects down the line!
Step 1
– Unbox your device like you’re unwrapping a gift – with care and excitement! Once the box is open, take a moment to admire your new gear before diving into the next step.
Step 2
– Let’s get started by taking off those 4 caps – nice and easy.
– Next up, remove 6 screws – hang in there, you’re doing great.
Step 3
– Carefully pop open the lid—no rush, just a smooth move.
– Lift up the board; this part is a breeze!
Step 4
– Carefully lift out the microwave circuit shield to expose the components beneath. If you need assistance, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 5
– Notice the 8 standoffs? They’re here to make sure the covers don’t squish down on the circuits underneath.
– Glance over to the left, just outside the shielding—you’ll spot 4 tiny connectors. Trace those back to the little square pads on the circuit board. That’s where the antennas are hanging out.
