Replace Galaxy Note 4 Antenna Guide
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Hey there! Can’t connect your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the cellular network or Wi-Fi? Don’t sweat it – it might be time to give that antenna a little swap. This guide will help you replace the antenna in your Note 4 like a pro! If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Let’s get started by removing the sixteen 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws that hold the midframe in place – they’re securing it to the display assembly, so take your time and get them all out.
– Now, gently grasp the cap of the S Pen and slide it out of its slot in the midframe. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
Step 2
Hey there, champ! Be super careful when separating the front glass panel from the display. They’re still buddies, held together by some sticky stuff. No need to break up the party, just gently ease them apart.
– Slide a plastic opening tool into the gap between the midframe and the display assembly.
– Gently run the plastic opening tool around the edge of the phone to loosen the adhesive.
Step 3
– Grab yourself a trusty plastic opening tool and gently work it around the battery housing to pop those clasps loose. You’ve got this!
Step 4
Time to get a little aggressive – you’ll need to apply some decent pressure to separate these two parts. Don’t worry, it’s doable!
If your new midframe doesn’t come with a headphone jack assembly, no sweat! Just transfer the one from your old midframe to the new one. You can use plastic opening tools to pry it loose – it’s held in place by some plastic pins. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
Step 5
– Gently pull up on the connectors using your trusty tweezers to let them free from the phone’s embrace.
– Remember, the blue dot on the shorter connector likes to hang out closest to the bottom of your phone.
