Replace Samsung Feature Phone Keypad

If your keypad buttons are playing hard to get or acting a bit quirky, it might be a sign that the keypad has seen better days. No worries! This guide will walk you through checking out the keypad and, if needed, swapping it out for a fresh one. Let’s get your device back in action!

Step 1

– Gently slide the battery out from its cozy spot in the back of the phone. You’ve got this!

Step 2

– Remove the screws from the top of the antenna.

Step 3

– Grab that antenna with your trusty tweezers and give it a gentle nudge toward the top.

– Now, it’s time to let go of the antenna and remove it completely.

Step 4

– Pop out those four 3 mm screws from the battery compartment—easy peasy!

– Locate the release buttons on the sides of the phone, give them a good press, and gently work the back plate off. You’ve got this!

Step 5

– Give those release tabs on the sides of the back casing a little press to set things in motion.

– Carefully coax the motherboard free and lift it out like a pro.

Step 6

– Let’s get started! Carefully remove the gray keypad from your phone by gently peeling it back.

Step 7

– First, gently remove the black keypad from the phone casing. It should come off without too much effort, but don’t rush it!

– Next, give the keypad a nice clean and inspect it carefully for any signs of wear or damage. If it’s showing some love and wear, it’s time to replace it with a fresh one!
