Replace Xbox 360 Drive Belt Guide

Steps: 6 Steps

Step 1

– Let’s kick things off by gently removing the face plate.

Step 2

– Time to get this DVD Drive open! Use a trusty paper clip or a long pick tool to carefully pry it open. Remember to take your time and be gentle, we’re almost there!

Step 3

– Grab your trusty tweezers and carefully pull that rubber belt, like you’re giving it a little high-five, between those two pulleys inside the DVD tray hole. You got this!

Step 4

– Give that rubber belt a good scrub with a damp paper towel. Get all the gunk off!

Step 5

– Time to get those rubber belts back on the pulleys! Grab your trusty tweezers and start with the big guy first. Once you’ve got the belt snugly fitted around the big pulley, loop it around the little one next. Easy peasy!

Step 6

– Close up the DVD drive and put the faceplate back in place. You’re almost there!

– Plug the system back in and see if the drive is working. You’re a superstar! If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
