Samsung Galaxy A15 Back Cover Replacement Guide – DIY Tutorial
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 14 Steps
Get ready to tackle the back cover of your Samsung Galaxy A15! This guide will walk you through the steps to remove or swap out that back cover like a pro. And don’t forget, when it’s time to put it back on, you’ll need some fresh adhesive to keep it secure. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– First things first, unplug all those cables and give your phone a little time-out by powering it off completely.
– Next up, press and hold the power button and the volume down button at the same time to pull up the shutdown menu. Easy peasy!
Step 2
A hair dryer can come in handy, but watch out for overheating your phone—the display, internal battery, and plastic back can be sensitive to heat. Aim for a temperature that’s just a tad too hot to touch comfortably.
– Warm up your iOpener and gently press it against the right edge of the back cover for about two minutes. You’re doing great!

Step 3
There’s a sneaky layer of adhesive hanging out at the bottom of the phone. Besides this little area, make sure not to go deeper than 4 mm from the edge. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
– While the adhesive is taking its sweet time to soften, here’s some handy info for you:
– There’s a layer of adhesive holding the back cover snugly around the edge of the frame.
Step 4
If you’re running into issues, just crank up the heat a bit more to help loosen that adhesive. You’ve got this!
– Grab a suction handle and stick it on the back cover, aiming for the center of the right edge like a pro.
– Give that suction handle a good pull with some solid, steady force to pop open a little gap between the cover and the frame.
– Slide an opening pick into that gap and get ready to work your magic!

Step 5
– Gently glide your trusty opening pick along the right edge, slipping it between the back cover and the frame to cut through that sticky adhesive like a pro.
– Once you’re in, just tuck your pick into the bottom right corner. This will keep that adhesive from sealing up again while you work your magic!
Step 6
– Heat up your iOpener again and let it cozy up to the bottom of the back cover for a solid two minutes.

– Now, glide that pick around the edges of the camera modules to free the rest of those clips. You’re doing great!
Step 13
– Once the adhesive around the edges starts to give, gently slide your opening pick further into the bottom edge, starting from the bottom left corner.
– Continue to glide your pick along the bottom edge of the device, trimming through the last bits of adhesive like a pro.
Step 14
Now’s the perfect moment to give your phone a little power-up and check all its functions before you seal everything back up. Just remember to turn your phone off completely before diving back into the repair!
– Gently lift off the back cover and set it aside.
– As you put everything back together:
– Use tweezers or your fingers to clear away any stubborn adhesive bits. If it’s being a bit tricky, a little heat and some isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) can work wonders to loosen it up.
