Step 1

– Slide a fingernail or plastic tool between the back cover and the device.

– Carefully pop the rear cover off the back of the phone.

Step 2

– With a smooth move, slide the SIM card down out of its slot.

– Pop out the SIM card.

Step 3

– Grab your trusty Phillips #00 screwdriver and let’s tackle those eleven 3 mm screws together! You’ve got this!

Step 4

– Let’s get started by inserting a plastic opening tool between the screen and the back of your device – it’s the first step to getting you back up and running.

– Now, begin at the bottom of your device and gently slide the tool along the edges of the screen, working your way around.

– Next, carefully pry the main assembly away from the midframe – don’t worry if it takes a little patience, you’ve got this! If you need help, you can always schedule a repair

Step 5

– Now, grab your trusty spudger (that’s the flat-ended tool, in case you forgot!) and gently disconnect the front-facing camera cable. Just give it a little nudge, and it’ll pop right out. You’ve got this!
