If the screws get stuck when removing, don’t worry – we’ve got a trick for you. Try placing the adhesive side of some tape on the screws and then pull the tape off. This should help loosen them up. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
– Let’s get those eleven Phillips #00 3.5mm screws out of there! Grab your trusty screwdriver and twist them away like a pro.

– Flip your phone over and give a little push down in the spot where the battery used to live.

– Let’s get this motherboard separated! Slide your iFixit Opening Pick between the motherboard and the panel.
– Now, gently work that iFixit Opening Pick around the outside of the motherboard. We’re almost there!

– Gently lift the motherboard out of the phone using your hand, taking care to be smooth and steady. You’ve got this!

– Grab your trusty iFixit Opening Pick and gently pry the speaker off the back side. It’s like giving it a little hug, but with a tool!
– Now, grab the speaker with your fingers or use tweezers to pull it out. You got this!
