Get ready to tackle the loudspeaker removal for your Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra! Since the loudspeaker is snugly fitted into the lower midframe, you’ll be swapping out both parts together. Step 1

– Warm up an iOpener and place it on the bottom edge of the back cover for two minutes. Let’s get that cover ready to be opened!

Step 2

– Start by placing a suction cup on the back of your phone, aiming for the sweet spot near the center of the bottom edge.

– Give that suction cup a good, firm pull to pop open a little gap between the back cover and the frame—you’re doing great!

– Now, gently slide the tip of an opening pick into that gap you’ve just created.

Step 3

– Gently glide the pick back and forth across the bottom edge to smoothly slice through the adhesive.

– Pop in your opening pick in the seam to keep the adhesive from sealing back up.

Step 4

– Warm up a heated iOpener and gently press it against the left edge of the back cover for a cozy two minutes.

Step 5

– Grab a suction cup and stick it on the back of your phone, right near the center of the left edge. You’ve got this!

– Give that suction cup a good tug with some steady strength to create a little gap between the back cover and the frame. You’re almost there!

– Slide the tip of an opening pick into that gap you just made. Easy peasy!

Step 6

– Gently slide the tool under the edge of the glass, give it a little tilt, and slide it in further to safely loosen up the adhesive holding the back cover.

Step 7

– Gently slide that pick down to the bottom edge of your phone to break free the sticky grip of the back cover’s adhesive.

– Pop your pick under the left edge of the glass near the bottom to keep that adhesive from getting cozy again.

Step 8

– Slide another pick right into the center of the left edge of the back cover.

– Gently glide that pick upwards towards the top of the device to break free the back cover’s adhesive.

– Keep your pick snugly under the left edge of the glass near the top to ensure the adhesive doesn’t seal back up. You got this!

Step 9

– Warm up that iOpener and place it on the right edge of the back cover for a cozy two minutes.

Step 10

– Get ready to stick a fun suction cup to the back of the phone, right in the middle of the right edge.

– Put some muscle into pulling on that funky suction cup to create a nice gap between the back cover and the frame.

– Time to slide the point of a cool opening pick into the gap.

Step 11

– Gently slide the pick down towards the bottom edge of your phone to break free the back cover’s sticky grip.

– Keep your pick tucked under the right edge of the glass near the bottom of the device to stop that adhesive from making a comeback.

Step 12

– Slide your trusty pick under the middle of the right edge of the back cover.

– Gently glide the pick up towards the top of the device to break that stubborn adhesive seal!

Step 13

– Alrighty! Next, try warming up your sweet little device with a heated iOpener for about two minutes. This will help loosen up those stubborn parts and get them ready for some major love and affection. – Grab a spudger, go ahead and delicately lift the wireless charging coil connector. Don’t be shy, it’s just a small step towards getting your device back on track.

– Time to show that wireless charging coil who’s boss! Use those trusty tweezers to gently peel it away from the device.

– Give that wireless charging coil the VIP treatment by removing it with care.

– When putting things back together, make sure to reconnect the wireless charging coil connector first. This will help you line it up just right. Then, give the rest of the coil a good press to make sure it sticks like glue.

– Grab your trusty Phillips #00 screwdriver and let’s get to work! Carefully remove the five screws that are holding the motherboard bracket in place—each one is a tiny but mighty 3.9 mm long. You’ve got this!

– Grab a trusty pair of tweezers and carefully unclip that motherboard bracket to set it free!

– Grab your trusty spudger and gently pry up to disconnect that battery connector. You’ve got this!

– Grab your trusty Phillips #00 screwdriver and get ready for some fun! It’s time to unscrew those five 3.9 mm-long screws that are keeping the loudspeaker and lower midframe snug as a bug. Let’s do this!

– Grab your trusty spudger or a pair of tweezers and gently insert the point into the notch located in the top left corner of the midframe. Give it a little pry to pop those clips loose and set it free!
