Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Verizon Speaker Replacement
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
This guide will walk you through replacing the speaker on the Samsung Galaxy Tab E.
Step 1
Before you start, make sure to pull out any micro-SD or SIM cards to keep them safe.
Double-check that your device is completely powered off – we don’t want any unexpected surprises!
Unplug all those extra devices from your tablet, it’s time to go solo for a bit.
Step 2
This step might need a bit more muscle than you thought. If it’s being stubborn, grab a suction cup and give the screen a gentle lift to help things along.
– Slide the plastic opening tool gently between the screen and back cover like you’re sneaking into a secret club.
– Glide the tool around the edges to pop those plastic lips holding the case together—think of it as coaxing a shy turtle out of its shell.
Step 3
– You’ll get the hang of popping these clips apart as you go along.
– Once you’ve loosened about half of the clips, try using your hands to carefully lift the back cover off.
– If you want a little extra grip, a suction cup can help make separating the device a bit smoother.
Step 4
– Find the speaker chilling in the top right corner of the back case. Grab your tweezers and gently peel back the film that’s holding the speaker to the case.
