Start by gently inserting the opening tool into one side of the tablet and carefully sliding it around the edges. As you go, place the picks in each corner to keep the process smooth. Once the screen is loosened, lift the old one off. Take your new screen, peel off the plastic cover, and give the tablet screen a quick clean with a wipe. Carefully position the new screen in place, pressing down to ensure it sticks properly. When everything’s set, you’re all done and ready to enjoy your tablet again—no fuss, just a job well done! – Now, grab your tools! You’ll need an opening tool, some picks, precision tweezers, a suction handle, and a spudger to get started.

– Take your opening tool and slide the pointy end into a corner of the screen. Gently pop the corner up by prying it upwards.

– Work your way around the edge of the screen, slipping picks into each remaining corner to loosen things up.

– Slide an opening pick between the housing and the LCD assembly, carefully working it around to loosen things up.

– Find the ribbon cable connector hiding on the back of the LCD assembly.
– Grab your spudger and gently flip the connector tab upwards—no heavy lifting required.
– Slide the ribbon cable out of the connector with a smooth, confident pull.
