Time to get your tablet’s speakers sounding sweet again! Before you dive into replacing them, make sure you’ve tried all other options and ruled out any software issues that might be causing the problem. If your speakers are still on the fritz, this step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of getting them up and running. Step 1
– First things first, turn off your device. Then, flip it over so the screen is facing down. Grab your trusty PH000 screwdriver and start unscrewing those 4 screws around the edge. You’ve got this!
Step 2
– Grab a plastic opening tool or a metal spudger and gently work your way around the edges of the rear case. Slowly and carefully wiggle the tool up and down to loosen the case, making sure to pry it away from the display. Once the rear case is completely detached, set it aside and you’re good to go!

Step 3
– With your trusty tweezers in hand, gently peel away the tape that’s keeping those black and red cables snugly attached to the motherboard. Set that tape aside because you’ll want it back for reassembly later!

– Unscrew the 2 screws keeping the speaker attached to the front panel using a PH000 screwdriver. Stash those screws somewhere safe, they’re making a comeback for reassembly!
Step 5
– Grab your trusty metal spudger and gently pry that speaker away from the front panel of the tablet. You’ve got this!

– Gently unplug the black and red twisted wires from the motherboard. Easy does it – make sure not to pull too hard!
