Step 1
– Press the button and slide the unit out to detach the base. Easy peasy!
Step 2
By keeping the cover secure, you’ll avoid it getting stuck under the back plate after you’ve removed it.
– Gently pry off the USB port cover from the back plate using a metal spudger. Take it slow and steady, and you’ll be all set!

These screws are like unique little snowflakes, each with their own threads! Keep them separated to avoid any mix-ups.
– Grab your trusty Phillips #02 screwdriver and unscrew the six 6 mm length x 6 mm head screws holding the backplate in place. Go ahead, you’re doing great!
– Using the Phillips #02 screwdriver, twist out the ten 6 mm length x 8 mm head screws from the backplate. Nice and steady—you’re nailing this repair!
Step 4
Handle with care to avoid snapping those plastic clips that keep the plate in place.
– To put your device back together, just wiggle through the steps in reverse—easy peasy!
