– Use a pry tool to gently pop off the side panels. You’ve got this!

– Let’s get started by removing the 5 Torx Security Bit (TR9) screws – this is the first step to unlocking your device’s inner workings!

Step 3

– Gently pry open the panel beside the 3.5mm port. You’ve got this!

Step 4

– Gently lift the connector to free the ribbon with ease.

– Let’s get started by removing the 2 Torx (T6) screws – this is the first step to unlocking your device’s inner workings!

Step 6

– Time to get desoldering! Carefully remove the 4 wires from each side – these little guys control the vibrations and the RT LT. Take your time and make sure you’re gentle, we don’t want any accidental damage.

Step 7

– Gently lift from the ‘top’ side of the controller on the sister board. You’ve got this!

Step 8

– Gently lift the middle section starting from the home button side. Keep it steady and light-hearted as you go!

Step 9

– Loosen up those 6 Torx (T6) screws and set them free!

– To put everything back together, just follow these steps in reverse – easy peasy!
