DIY Tutorial: Replace MacBook Pro 15 Right Thermal Sensor Step-by-Step Guide

Heads up, tech whiz! Make sure you’ve got your tools ready and your game face on. We’re diving into this repair together!
This nifty sensor keeps tabs on your device’s internal hotness, making sure it stays cool while you’re on a roll!
Step 2
– Unscrew the trio of awesome Phillips screws holding down the memory door. Let’s get those screws out and move one step closer to victory!
Step 3
– Gently lift the memory door just enough to get a good grip on it, then slide it toward yourself and away from the casing like you’re pulling a tablecloth in a magic trick!
Step 4
– Unscrew the two 2.8 mm Phillips party crashers chilling in the battery compartment near the latch.
Step 5
– Unscrew the following 6 screws:

– Unscrew the four 3.2 mm Phillips screws chilling on the port side of your computer. Let’s keep it cool and collected!
Step 7
– Twist your computer by a cool 90 degrees and whisk away the two 3.2 mm Phillips screws chilling at the back of your computer.
Step 8
– Twist your computer 90 degrees once more and unscrew the four 3.2 mm Phillips screws from the side. Keep it groovy, you’re doing great!
Step 9
Take it slow, champ! Gently lift the upper case because it’s still connected to the logic board with a sneaky ribbon cable. No rush, no rips!
– Start by lifting the back of the case. Wiggle your fingers along the edges to loosen it bit by bit. When the sides are free, give the case a gentle rock back and forth to detach the front. There are a few sneaky plastic clips hidden there that need a good clicking off.
Step 10
– Unplug the trackpad and keyboard ribbon cable from the logic board, peel off any tape if it’s in the way.
– Now, take off the upper case.
Step 11
– Pop the right fan cable off the logic board with a spudger. Just slide it under the cable and give it a gentle lift. Easy peasy!

– Unscrew the trio of shiny T6 Torx screws that are playfully keeping the right fan attached to the logic board and lower case. Let’s set them free!
Step 14
– Pop off the right thermal sensor cable from the logic board with a spudger. Just slide it under the cable and give it a gentle lift-up!
