– Gently position the black grounding wire’s connector over one of the mat’s grounding nodes.
– Give that connector a little push until you hear a satisfying click—this means it’s snug and ready to go!
Step 3
Give those clip levers a good pinch to swing those jaws wide open for a solid grip on the surface. You’ve got this!
– Clip that black grounding wire to a metal surface that’s grounded, and let’s keep things safe and sound!
Step 4
– Before you rock that anti-static wrist strap, take a moment to ditch any jewelry on your wrists and fingers. Let’s keep it clean and safe while we dive into this repair adventure!
Step 5
Make sure to adjust that anti-static strap so it fits snugly on your wrist, keeping those pesky static charges at bay while you work your magic!
– Give that looped end of the strap a little tug to free it from the plastic lock.
Step 6
– To snug up the strap, simply pull the looped end away from the plastic slide. You’ve got this!
Step 7
Give that plastic lock a little love and snap it back into place before moving on!
– To loosen the strap, gently pull the main part of the band away from the plastic slide, like you’re giving it a friendly nudge.
Step 8
If the strap feels a bit too loose or snug, go ahead and tweak it while it’s still on your wrist!
– Slip the strap onto your hand and snug it up on your wrist.
Step 9
– Unhook the metal clip from the strap and say goodbye to that blue grounding wire!
Step 10
